Yes, Bocha Pop is a low calorie soda with zero net carbs. As a plant-based soda, it was formulated to meet these dietary needs without any additives, artificial flavors, or bitter-tasting sweeteners.
What sweeteners are used in Bocha Pop?
Bocha Pop is sweetened using a monk fruit and low-calorie xylitol blend. There is NO stevia, erythritol, sucralose, or any other bitter tasting sugar alternatives added into our formula. You will be delighted at how incredibly delicious our Bocha Pop is once you taste it for yourself!
Does Bocha Pop contain artificial flavors, colors, additives, or phosphoric acid?
No. Bocha Pop does not contain any of those. It contains Non-GMO natural flavors and fruit & vegetable juice (for color) used in Chill Out Cola, Dr. Quench, and Orange Dream.
We opted for a healthier alternative for phosphoric acid in our Chill Out Cola and Dr. Quench. We opted for a combination of tartaric acid and malic acid which perfectly replaces phosphoric acid in those flavors.
What is tartaric acid and malic acid?
Tartaric acid and malic acid are healthier alternatives to phosphoric acid which gives soda that sharp, tangy flavor you love.
Tartaric acid is an organic acid that occurs naturally in grapes, bananas, and tamarinds.
Malic acid is an organic compound naturally found in various fruits and vegetables, it is abundantly found in apples.
